Tampa, FL, August 1, 2014: Licensed DME providers such as STYMCO Medical are subject to random and surprise audits or inspections by regulators in each state in which they must be licensed or certified to do business during each licensing period. STYMCO was required to conduct an audit by the State of Ohio this summer and is pleased to report it passed the inspection with flying colors, no major deficiencies having been found by the inspection.

Tampa, FL, November 1, 2013: Mr. Atkinson has been practicing law for almost forty years and has been in Tampa since 1980. Mr. Atkinson is well-known in the state for his career as an Assistant United State Attorney and as chief of the Narcotics section for the Middle District of Florida and his subsequent work for State Attorney Bill James. Mr. Atkinson then spent twenty years in the private practice of law before joining STYMCO. Since 2006 he has been recognized as a Florida “Super Lawyer.” Mr. Atkinson is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Florida Bar’s Healthcare Law section. Tampa, FL, October 10, 2013: At its first general business meeting. STYMCO Medical Board of Directors was pleased to appoint board member and investor Thomas Parnell esq., as counsel to the Board.

Mr. Parnell, President of the law firm of Gibbs & Parnell, has been practicing law in Tampa for nearly thirty (30) years. A graduate of Florida State University and FSU’s law school, and he is admitted to practice in a number of courts, including the United States Supreme Court and is a member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. Mr. Parnell is an experienced trial attorney with an AV rating.

With that license now in hand STYMCO will launch its marketing and sales efforts in the Class II electrotherapy devices market.
